She is currently a Senior Social Worker with South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC) on the Community Social Work team. Eswari Annavee is a social worker and has worked in Family Service Centres for past 9 years. She sees value in engaging and strengthening relationships with communities who are the key stakeholders in joint interventions. Palvindran Jayram is a community social worker with SCCFSC. Over the past 2 years Pal has worked with families and communities in Singapore to restore and strengthen relationships. He is passionate about empowering members to take ownership and create change for and by themselves.

SCC believes in working with members in our communities to transform poverty. It has found Restorative Practices (RP) and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) useful in its pursuit to drive efforts in building a more empowered and strengthened community.
SCC places emphasis on relationships. It values the synergy of both RP and ABCD approaches in connecting, strengthening and restoring relationships to bring about change.
The journey to integrate both RP and ABCD is an ever-evolving process that is long and winding. After 3 years on this road, SCC has gained some clarity and a lot of challenges. SCC believes this is an experience for sharing and learning with anyone who would like to travel or has travelled along this exciting journey.
Sign up for the conference to learn more about Restorative Practice and Restorative Justice in Singapore and other countries.
We look forward to seeing you there.
